Every voice test now captures a real MOS score from the actual audio, and you can check what your vendor billed you against what Route Inspector independently measured.
6X Route Inspector now goes beyond "did the call connect" — it measures real voice quality and can catch a vendor billing you for time that didn't actually happen.
Every completed test call now captures a real MOS (Mean Opinion Score) reading, taken directly from the actual received RTP audio stream's jitter-buffer behavior — not an estimate, a real measurement of how the call actually sounded. This surfaces routes that "connect fine" on paper but deliver genuinely poor audio quality, the kind of problem a simple answered/not-answered check would never catch.
Route Inspector can now compare what a vendor billed you against what actually happened on the test call: the real measured duration versus their reported duration, and specifically flags any case where a vendor billed for a call that was never actually answered — a classic and costly billing-fraud pattern. Any discrepancy over 10 seconds gets flagged automatically.
Both of these land directly in your test report alongside the existing FAS, CLI, and route-score data — one combined picture of whether a route is not just connecting, but connecting honestly and at real quality. Test it yourself: routeinspector.6xcom.com.
