Verify, lookup, and fraud-check endpoints are commodity features on paper. The real differences show up in reliability, pricing, and how honest the docs are.
Almost every telecom API provider offers some version of OTP verification, number lookup, and fraud checking. The differences that actually matter are rarely on the pricing page.
6X API includes Verify, Number Lookup, Fraud Check, and Webhooks — with Number Lookup and Fraud Check genuinely free for any approved account, since they cost 6X nothing marginal to serve, and full documentation visible without a sales call.
See the docs: 6xcom.com/developers.
Try to find the actual endpoint documentation without creating an account or talking to sales. If you can't, that alone tells you something about how much they expect developers to just take their word for it rather than see the real request/response shapes first. Then check whether a lookup-style endpoint (carrier lookup, fraud check) is priced per-call or genuinely free — these are stateless queries that cost the provider essentially nothing marginal to serve, so a per-call charge on them is a real signal about how the provider prices things generally, not just on this one feature.
