6X staff will never call or message you asking for your wallet password, API key, or SIP credentials. If someone does, it isn't us.
A pattern is showing up across the industry right now, not specific to 6X: scammers call or message people claiming to be "support" for a service they use, and try to get a password, API key, or wallet credential out of them under the guise of "verifying your account" or "fixing an issue." Here is exactly how to tell a real 6X contact from a fake one.
If we genuinely need to reach you, it'll come from an official 6xcom.com email address, or through the support channels you already use inside your dashboard — never a cold call demanding credentials. We will never ask you to say a password or code out loud.
Don't give out anything. Hang up or stop replying, and log into your account directly by typing the URL yourself (not a link they sent you) to check your real account status. If you're ever unsure, reach out to us directly at support@6xcom.com or through your dashboard's support option rather than replying to whoever contacted you.
