Paste a link, claim, image, voice note, or video and check it against 6X's own trusted news sources - free, no signup, with a live web search fallback when our own feed has nothing.
Misinformation spreads fast, especially around breaking news and anything shared in a group chat with "forward this" energy. We built a free tool to help: the 6X News Verifier, live now at 6xcom.com/verify.
Paste a link, a claim, or upload a screenshot, voice note, or video clip. 6X checks it against our own trusted news sources - BBC, Al Jazeera, Africanews, NPR, WHO, and more - and if nothing there matches, falls back to a real live web search checked against a curated list of reputable outlets, including major Nigerian and African news sites.
Install 6X on your phone, then use your normal Share button on a suspicious link from WhatsApp, Twitter, or anywhere else and pick 6X - it opens straight into the Verifier with that link already being checked.
We're upfront about what this is and isn't: it's a real, honest corroboration checker, not a magic truth detector. No tool can prove something false just because it hasn't seen it covered yet - including this one.
