Creating a gift card program
From Gift Cards, create a program with a name, logo, and one or more preset amounts (or let the customer choose their own amount).
Selling online
Customers can buy a gift card through your storefront the same wire-transfer way as any product — once you approve payment, the card is issued with a unique code and QR, emailed to the buyer (and the recipient, if different).
Issuing at the counter
Use Issue a card to sell one in person — print it, or hand over the QR on a phone, no online payment step needed.
Redeeming a card
Use the Redeem screen (works with your phone or tablet camera) to scan a customer's card QR at checkout. The balance check and deduction happen together, safely — two staff members can never accidentally redeem the same card twice for more than its balance, even if they scan it at the exact same moment.
Refunds
If a card needs to be refunded, request it from the card's page — the balance is restored and the transaction is logged.
