Reading your CDRs
Understanding call and SMS records, status breakdowns, and exporting reports.
Reading your CDRs
Your dashboard provides full call detail records (CDRs) for both voice and SMS, with real-time summary statistics.
Voice CDR fields
- Answered - the call connected and was billed.
- Failed / Busy / Missed - the call did not complete. Hover over any status badge in your CDR table to see the exact hangup cause and other detail, right there in the table - no need to open a separate report.
- ASR (Answer Seizure Ratio) - the percentage of your calls that were answered. A healthy ASR is typically 40% or higher depending on traffic type; a sudden drop usually indicates a routing or destination issue worth investigating.
SMS CDR fields
- Delivered - confirmed received by the destination carrier.
- Sent - submitted successfully, delivery confirmation still pending.
- Failed / Rejected / Expired - the message did not reach the destination.
- DLR Rate - your delivery confirmation rate. This can lag behind real deliverability since not all destination networks return delivery receipts promptly.
Filtering and exporting
Use the date range and status filters above any CDR table to narrow results, and use Export CSV to download the filtered data for your own records or reconciliation.
