Curriculum, Lesson Plans & Substitute Teachers
Plan a term's syllabus, write day-level lesson plans, and cover a teacher's classes for a day without touching the regular timetable.
Syllabus topics
From Curriculum, pick a class and subject, then list out the topics you plan to cover this term. Check a topic off as you teach it — this gives any teacher (or you) a running picture of how far through the syllabus a class actually is.
Lesson plans
Add a dated lesson plan with a title, objectives, and materials — optionally linked to one of your syllabus topics, so your day-to-day planning stays connected to the term's bigger picture. Any staff member can manage their own lesson plans; this is a teaching tool, not something parents see.
Substitute / cover teachers
From Substitutes, pick a date and see that day's real timetable — every class with its regular teacher. Assign a different staff member to cover any class for that one date without touching your regular weekly timetable at all; remove the cover at any time to revert to the regular teacher. The assigned substitute sees their own cover duties listed when they log in.
