AI Call Assistant
Let an AI answer your phone for simple questions — grounded only in facts you provide, never invents an answer.
What it does
The AI Call Assistant can answer your school's phone and handle simple, common questions — school hours, admission office hours, how to report an absence — speaking naturally and understanding what a caller says. For anything it can't help with, it transfers the call to your real office number.
Setting it up
From AI Call Assistant, turn it on and write what it's allowed to tell callers in plain language — school hours, fee deadlines, how to reach a specific office. The AI only ever repeats back what you've written here (plus your school's name) — it never invents a price, policy, or fact you haven't given it.
A real safety rule
The AI will never discuss a specific student's grades, attendance, discipline, or health information over the phone — even if a caller gives a name and claims to be the parent. Any question like that is always transferred to a real staff member, no exceptions.
Choosing when it answers
Set it to answer every call, or only outside your office hours (so a human always picks up first during the school day, and the AI only covers after-hours calls) — configure your real weekly hours under the same page.
Picking a voice
Choose from several natural-sounding voices for the AI to speak in.
