Using the Country Rate Pages

Every destination we support has its own page at rates.6xcom.com — for example rates.6xcom.com/country/nigeria — combining our live wholesale rates with real telecom and country context, pulled directly from the same data our billing engine uses. No account is needed to browse.

What's on each country page

• Live Voice & SMS Rates — real-time pricing, shown as both route tiers we support: CC (real trunk) / CLI (caller ID preserved) for voice, HQ (real SMPP trunk) / Direct for SMS.
• Mobile Network Operators — the real mobile carriers operating in that country, with Mobile Country Code (MCC) reference data.
• Number Prefixes — which carrier a mobile prefix was originally assigned to. Numbers can port between carriers since, so treat this as background, not a live lookup — for a live check of a specific number, use the Carrier Lookup tool instead.
• Available Numbers (DIDs) — whether we currently have inbound numbers in stock for that country, and starting monthly price. Each number card has a direct action to start a call or claim it.
• Rate History — a real, automatically-recorded log of how our published rate for that country has changed over time.
• Telecom Fraud Advisory — shown only where relevant: documented fraud patterns (for example premium-rate callback scams) our own routing already flags for a small number of high-risk destinations, with a direct link to run a Fraud/Toll Check on a specific number.
• Related Countries — other countries in the same region, ranked by population, so you can quickly compare pricing for a wider rollout without leaving the page.
• Local time, current weather, and the next public holiday in that country's capital — handy if you're scheduling a call with someone there.

Every rate — voice and SMS — is shown as its own card with a "Make a Call" or "Send SMS" action attached, not just a static price, so you can act on a rate as soon as you see it.

Why some countries only show "Mobile" or only "Landline"

Each country has exactly one published wholesale voice rate, labeled either "Landline" or "Mobile" depending on how it was originally entered. This label doesn't limit what the rate covers. Our routing engine bills every call to that country's dialing code at the same published rate, regardless of whether the number dialed is a landline or a mobile. If a country's page only shows "Mobile", calls to landlines there are still covered at that same rate — you don't need a separate rate for each.

Comparing countries side by side

Use rates.6xcom.com/compare to compare up to 4 countries at once — population, region, currency, mobile penetration, and both voice and SMS rates, with the cheaper rate highlighted in each row. You can also start a comparison directly from any country page, using the "Compare with another country" picker near the bottom of the page.

Calculating your exact monthly cost

Each country page links to the main rate deck's calculator on rates.6xcom.com, pre-filled with that destination — enter your expected monthly minutes or SMS volume and it works out the real cost in your chosen currency.

Getting notified when a rate changes

You don't need to keep checking a country's Rate History manually. When we publish a real rate change for a destination, an entry goes out on 6X Alerts linking straight back to that country's rate page, and every wholesale customer automatically receives it by email — no separate subscription or per-country follow needed. To avoid noise on days with many small adjustments, changes for the same country are batched into a single update rather than emailed one at a time.

Browsing rates never requires an account — only signing up to actually start routing traffic.
